Change of plans...


Sunday's Weigh-In: 249.4 lbs
 Goal Weight: 175.0 lbs

Change of plans, I know I said I would take about water intake today but I'm going to do that Friday. I want to share something I discover yesterday. I ran across this application on the USDA Food and Nutrition page, called SuperTracker. SuperTracker take your food intake and exercise then analyses it. Below are my results from yesterday and today.


I found this to be very interesting. According to SuperTracker, I should eat more grains and dairy. I should also decrease my fruit intake but I probably won't change my fruit intake though. I never heard of empty calories being associate to food. Normally, I hear it when they mention sodas. Most of my empty calories came from the whole milk and butter I eat, but I manage to be way under my limit.


I would suggest everyone give SuperTracker a try for one day. Just input your food and exercise data and see what is says.

I made a strawberry banana smoothie and blueberry banana smoothie yesterday, both were delicious. Today, I had a red raspberry banana smoothie. It was great except for the raspberry seeds getting stuck in my teeth. Did you know a cup of raspberries has 9g of fiber? That's a lot. I'm going to have a blackberry banana smoothie later today. 

Branden's Simple Fruit Smoothie

1/2 cup of frozen fruit (your choice)
2 frozen bananas
2 cups of ice
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 cup of water

Blend until desired consistency.
Should be enough for two people or one greedy person, like me. :-)

Oh, I peeked at the scale this morning, I weigh 248.2. Yah!
