I did my walk...

Sunday's Weigh-In: 236.6 lbs
Goal Weight: 175 lbs
Pounds to Lose: 61.6 lbs

I did my walk this morning on the treadmill, 4 mph @ 5% incline, and I notice my heart rate was lower than normal. My average was 146 today and the past few days it was 157. Have I gotten use walking on the treadmill already? Or is it because I preoccupied watching a TV show, The Blacklist, on Hulu through my iPad? Gotta love tethering! :-)

I tried cook cod for the first time. It's pretty good. It has a unique taste that I can't describe. I also tried Dark Chocolate Dreams by Peanut Butter & Co., it tastes good as well but not as good as The Bee's Knees. Here's my ranking.

1. The Bee's Knees
2. White Chocolate Wonderful
3. Dark Chocolate Dreams

I found this on my Facebook newsfeed: Medical emergency motivates couple to lose 538 pounds. Very inspiring story, check it out.

Wow, sometimes you do get what you wish for...

Sunday's Weigh-In: 236.6 lbs
Goal Weight: 175 lbs
Pounds to Lose: 61.6 lbs

Wow, sometimes you do get what you wish for. I wished to be 237 lbs and this morning I weigh 236.6 lbs. Yah! I'm less than 10 lbs away from my halfway mark. I tried on my old jeans (36x34), I can fasten all of them but they are a bit tight in the waist, I would need to wear my shirts untucked. They'll probably fit perfectly in another week. I'm so excited. :-)

My weather app said it was cloudy and it should rain around noon. I opened the door and it was drizzling so I went to the fitness center. I treadmill kicked my @#%?! yet again. I imagine in time walking 4 mph at a 5% incline will get easier. At this moment, I don't see myself walking again today but who knows how i will feel later.

After watching a few of Mudturtle's videos, I decided last night to try the peanut butter he uses, White Chocolate Wonderful by Peanut Butter & Co. I have to admit it was very delicious but I still love The Bee's Knees better, next month, I try Dark Chocolate Dreams. Since their peanut butter lasts 6 months after opening, I might buy their sampler, Peanut Butter & Co. and Bob’s Red Mill Mega Assortment; it includes one 15oz Breakfast Mug, four 16oz bags of Bob’s Red Mill Extra Thick Rolled Oats and seven 16oz jars of peanut butter (The Bee's Knees, Smooth Operator, Cinnamon Raisin SwirlDark Chocolate Dreams, Mighty MapleWhite Chocolate Wonderful, and Crunch Time). It will make a great birthday gift <hint hint>.

I've been craving sushi lately. I know it's such an odd craving. I normally have it at the all you can buffet at Buffet City, they also have octopus on the menu. Yum! Since I don't think I'm at that place yet where I can control myself. I'm going to buy it fresh at Farm Fresh or Harris Teeter. If it's not too expense I might be tempted to incorporate it into my weekly meal plan. Eventually, I would like to learn how to make it myself.

Here's are interesting article on sushi, I found; The Truth About Sushi.

Last week, my BMI was 31.8 kg/m2, this week it's 31.2 kg/m2; I'm getting there slowly but surely. I'm 9.6 lbs away from the overweight zone. 227 lbs here I come!

I feel bad...

Sunday's Weigh-In: 249.2 lbs
 Goal Weight: 185.0 lbs
Pounds to Lose: 64.2 lbs

I feel bad about not walking 7 miles on Wednesday so I decided to walk 9 miles today and tomorrow to make up for the lost 4 miles. I planning on going to First Landing State Park on Saturday and walk the Cape Henry trail (6.1 miles) in additional to the 9 miles. So I should have a total of 21 miles tomorrow, almost a marathon. Wish me luck.

I increased my meat intake to make up for some of the calories I burned, still not enough though. Reading through the forums on MyFitnessPal, a lot people recommend eating peanut butter to make up the calories. Peanut butter is a great source of protein and it contains good fat so I'll get some tomorrow. I found a company, Justin's; they make an assortment of nut butters: Chocolate Hazelnut, Vanilla Almond, Maple Almond, Classic Almond, Honey Almond, Chocolate Almond, Honey Peanut, and Classic Peanut. They can be purchase at Kroger or online. Just thinking about some Honey Peanut Butter makes me want to go to the store now, you know what, I think I will go now. ;-)

UPDATE: Kroger didn't have Justin's Honey Peanut Butter, actually they look like they don't even carry Justin's as per their Justin's website, so I brought The Bee's Knees by Peanut Butter & Co. It's pretty good. I also brought some Nature's Own 40 Calorie Honey Wheat Bread. According to hellohealthy, bread should have 1g of fiber for every 10g of carbohydrates. Nature's Own 40 Calorie Honey Wheat has 6g of fiber to 19 carbohydrates per serving (2 slices). Honey wheat bread and honey peanut butter--that's good eating right there.
